GAMMA Rwanda is the national body dedicated to the development, promotion, regulation, and advancement of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Rwanda, operating within the framework of the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA). The organisation is committed to creating a structured, safe, inclusive, and sustainable environment in which athletes, coaches, referees, judges, and other MMA stakeholders can develop their skills and contribute to the growth of the sport. GAMMA Rwanda focuses on athlete development, technical capacity building, competitions, coaching and officiating development, youth engagement, grassroots participation, and international representation, while promoting discipline, respect, integrity, sportsmanship, and fair play. Through collaboration with relevant sports authorities, national and international partners, clubs, academies, coaches, and athletes, GAMMA Rwanda works to strengthen the MMA ecosystem in the country and create opportunities for Rwandan athletes to compete and develop at regional, continental, and international levels. The organisation also places emphasis on safeguarding, responsible sports development, and community engagement, with the long-term objective of contributing to the professionalisation and sustainable growth of MMA in Rwanda while positioning Rwandan athletes and officials for meaningful participation on the international stage.
